Taking a cue from superstar singer Beyoncé ‘s announcement of her pregnancy at last year’s MTV Video Music Awards, Amber Rose showed off her baby bump yesterday at the 2012 edition of the same event. The model, dressed more modestly than usual in a full-length fitted black lace gown, put a tender hand on her growing stomach as she joined fiancé, rapper Wiz Khalifa, on the red carpet.
Previously set for a March 2013 wedding, the pair will now tie the knot in October this year due to the budding pregnancy, online reports claim. The couple had previously played coy when rumours of Rose’s pregnancy first began making the rounds, and recently Khalifa said in an interview, “I’m saying here that is not what people think it is. But, she will have my baby in life, and you guys will know when she’s pregnant. But it’s not the time now for people to start going crazy.”
While the pregnancy was apparently not planned, the couple are reportedly delighted to have a baby on the way. “Amber and Wiz unexpectedly got pregnant, but they’re really happy to be starting a family together,” a source said.
The baby is reportedly due in January and it will be the first child for both Khalifa and Rose.
